    January Total Weight Loss Spotrun Challenge

    This is a 7min times a day`s date challenge. It requires total commitment, and it can be deceiving in the beginning. We are targeting to have 3255min or 496km by the 31st of January 2023.
    What is required?

    • Clean bill of health (Get your doctor`s approval if suffering from any disease that does not require running or elevating your heart rate)
    • Running shoes and comfortable clothes
    • Water
    • Sweat towel
    • Gym mat (to trap the sweat)
    • Bathroom scale (if you have one)
    • Sport watch (if you have one)
    • Diary/notepad (record your journey i.e weight before and after every session)
      This challenge is taking place daily during the month of January with 99% live sessions on TikTok live. Starting times will differ per week until the challenge is complete.     It’s never too late to set some fitness goals resolutions; lets get going

    1. Set Goals
      What`s your fitness goals this year? This will help enjoy your journey since you have purpose. Through spot running you are able to achieve your goals at ease
    2. Do It Differently
      Clients tend to be creatures of habit and it’s all too easy to become stuck in a rut. Why not embrace a bit of change this year and enter a different Spotrun challenges or tackle the duration that you’ve never done before? By mixing things up and keeping your fitness goals fresh, you are much more likely to remain motivated.
    3. Your Body Deserve Some Tender Loving Care
      Remember, your performance tool is your body and be taken care of. Pamper your body with physiotherapists, chiropractor`s visits. Enjoy your journey injury free. Taking preventative action could save you a lot of frustration and money in the long run.
    4. Keep Your Fitness Journey
      Writing your training outcomes is crucial for your journey and must be kept safely. This helps you with consistency and renewed strength to keep going with your journey.
    5. Be Disciplined
      The journey might start lightly and get tougher as it goes. It’s easy to give up when you miss few sessions and be lazy to restart. This is a point where you remain resolute and fight to keep standing. Learn to love your adversary.
    6. Be Flexible
      Always start at slow pace in order to get your body warm and those muscles fired up for the session. Listen to sore areas and attend to them. You might experience sore calves and thighs and all you need to do is to foam roll or use a tennis ball around areas that are sore and keep going. If cannot do it on your own, visit your physiotherapy or chiropractor.
    7. Always Give Your All
      You know why you started this journey, and you need to give it your all to achieve your goals.
    8. Replenish
      Ensure that you always replenish all lost fluids during the sessions and do not starve yourself.
    9. Communicate
      You will find many people sharing the same fitness goals with, and you need to keep in touch with them for motivation. This is not an easy journey and you breakdown at any point, you need to establish channels of communication with others.
